Piano Stabs

PK and I love piano stabs. Your mother loves piano stabs. I can't speak for the rest of America but the entire nation loves piano stabs. Whenever I hear piano stabs my head whips toward the direction of the sound and I pay rapt attention to whatever is making music. This form of synthetic piano excellence has been a fundamental part of house music since the advent of the Korg M1 synthesizer and enhanced the quality of life around the globe with its beautifully abrupt, huge, plasticky chords. I don't think I'll ever get enough in my diet.

This Tom Piper & Nom De Strip remix is a shining example of pounding stab usage with Dizzee's signature consistently filthy flow over top.
Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Cash (Tom Piper & Nom De Strip Remix)

A 2008 classic from Surkin exhibiting some gorgeous rolling piano stabs.
Surkin - White Knight Two

BONUS!!

Bump this shit.
Surkin - White Knight Two (Orgasmic Mix ft. Teki Tek & Cuizinier)

Now here is a man who knows his way around some piano noise. When the raps start this song goes OFF.
MC Flipside - In The Zone (Bart B More Vocal Mix)

2009 house anthem from the Swedish House Mafia boys and Laidback Luke.
Axwell/Angello/Ingrosso/Laidback Luke ft. Deborah Cox - Leave The World Behind (Original Mix)

the Clubhaus

I almost put this in the main body of the post but this track is simply nonsensical. The most destructive use of piano stabs to date.
Heartbreaker - MSTRKRFT ft. John Legend (Laidback Luke Remix)

Fake Blood's first release given the dancefloor treatment by Herve. Do as the nice man says and "get on the floor if you got that booty."
Fake Blood - Mars (Exclusive Herve Re-Fix)

The sound quality is abominable but this original is too good not to share. The drums and arrangement blow those of all of the remakes out of the water, as is to be expected from the likes of A-Trak and Armand van Helden. If this song is ever released that day will be declared a national holiday.
Ducksauce - Barbara Streisand (Original Mix)(224 kbps)

Have a lazy Sunday.
Sir Real
