Miami Survival Pack // Megapost

We've been slacking pretty hard lately, but I hope you ate your wheaties this morning because in preparation for Miami Music Week/Ultra we've got a megapost coming at you today that's literally so dumb it's clinically retarded. It is Miami after all right? I think that means we're kind of obligated to start with the biggest, most off the wall stuff.

TECHNOOOOOOOO. This newest release on Brodinski's Bromance imprint is insanely fat. Expect to hear this one devastating dancefloors inside the tents during some of the techier sets at Ultra this year. Needless to say, Pipes is a dude who you should pay attention to from now on.
download: Pipes - Sleeping (Original Mix)

download: Sander Van Doorn - Chasin' (Original Mix)

download: Attaque - Shadows (Original Mix)

download: Matisse, Arty, Sadko - Trio (Original Mix)

download: Burns & NT89 - Traffic (Original Mix)

download: John Dahlback - Life (Original Mix)

download: Casey Spooner - Cinnamon Toast (Modek Remix)

It should go without saying, but make sure you crank the bass up to 11 on this one. Cue face melting circa the 2 minute mark. Release from the homies over at GND Records.
download: Hoshina Anniversary - Chicago (Original Mix)

download: Sharooz - Hysteresis (Hijack Remix)

Underground Sound
If you guys didn't eat your wheaties this morning, maybe you had some Cocaine and Ketamine instead? I hear either one counts as nourishment in Miami... In all seriousness (listen to the song and you'll understand), I'm excited to introduce you to the anthem for every basement in Miami this year. The long awaited "You and I" (better known as "Cocaine and Ketamine") by Fur Coat is out now on crosstown rebels.
download: Fur Coat - You and I

Light Year's newest release shows them going in a much more underground, deep house direction, and frankly it was a beautiful decision. I could eat this bassline for days. Sexy, 5AM vibes.
download: Light Year - Moderation (Original Mix)

This song is THE jam. Turn your speakers to full blast and listen to the little break after 1:30 to understand what I'm talking about. The only possible way this song could be cooler was if she was actually saying "Shots are on the house"... free shots are nice
download: Tensnake - Around The House (DJ T.'s 2011 Edit)

French Fries with some bass filled heat from dirtybird. Sidebar, I'm still waiting for patrick to learn how to do the Vogue like he says he's gonna. Will he pull it off in Miami? Tune in this time next week to find out.
download: French Fries - Yo Vogue (Original Mix)

download: DJ Glen - Bone System (Click Click's Neon White Mix)

I was waiting a long time for this remix EP to come out on the LA deep house label Culprit, and, well, it's finally out... AND IT'S AWESOME. Konrad Black puts in a supreme deep house cut here alongside a slew of other megafresh remixes. Make sure you check the whole thing out on Beatport.
download: Subb-an - What I Do (Konrad Black's "What I Did To You" Mix)

After the After-Afterparty
Some tracks for those late nights/surreal mornings when youre just trying to recuperate and relax. What better thing for that than some spacious amazing progressive house? This throwback by Inpetto always hits the spot.
download: Fragma - Toca Me (Inpetto 2008 Remix)

download: Benny Benassi feat. Channing - Come Fly Away (Adam K & Soha Remix)

Super chill remix by the legendary discomaster Greg Wilson that I randomly came across on a compilation by a label called Bear Funk Records. I definitely recommend checking out their "Hibernation" compilation series (which this track came off of), its some disco fuego.
download: Social Disco Club & Maia - The Way You Move (Greg Wilson Version)

Everything In Between
When Ed Banger's SebastiAn puts out a new track or remix, for me it's always a question of which SebastiAn is going to show up. Good SebastiAn (like Embody), or bad painfully-overdistorted SebastiAn (like on pretty much his entire album). Luckily here we have a perfect example of good SebastiAn. A friend of mine best summed it up to me recently when he said "it's almost like this is what Justice was trying to do on their most recent album...and failed miserably at". Either way, this song rocks.
download: The Shoes - Time To Dance (SebastiAn Remix) *Highly Recommended

download: Helvetic Nerds - Mistaken Identity (Incognet Remix)

One of my first memories of falling in love with a piece of music was on a road trip at summer camp when I was maybe 12 or 13, and the older counselers who were driving us played the same Talking Heads CD in the van over and over, and in particular the song "This Must Be The Place" and by a couple hours in everyone was belting all the words to the song at the top of their lungs. That little antidote is only relevant cause that awesome song gets an awesome remix effect here, with Anna Lunoe turning it into a nice little bit of sun splashed house.
download: Cari Kennedy & Goodwill (Talking Heads cover) - Home (Anna Lunoe Remix)

And last but not least, some Soulwax is always the basis of a healthy diet. (this is kind of just a testament to me being crazy excited to see 2manydjs again at Ultra this year...you should be too)
download: Walter Murphy - A Fifth Of Beethoven (Soulwax Edit)

Friday Selection

For all those late nights, early mornings and every bit of ridiculousness in between, we got a bit of everything comin' at you for this weekend's playlist.

Progressive / Big Room
First up this new Mat Zo is completely banging from start to finish. The young Above & Beyond protege has shown glimpses of greatness before, such as on last year's bomb of a track 'Superman' but this new Bipolar EP really shows him maturing as a producer into a certified baller.  Each track has its own vibe, but they all feature a common balance between melodic progressive elements and heavy hitting drops; a combination that adds up to dancefloor gold. My personal two favorites are Ring On It and the title track Bipolar, but honestly the whole EP is worth your money, check out the previews below:

A classic from Adam K and Soha, this one is right at the top of my list of all time favorite late-night  tracks. All I can say is gorgeous.
download: Adam K & Soha - Twilight (Original Mix)

Simple in the best way possible, this next track is a straightforward hands-in-the-air anthem reminiscent of some of avicii's best.
download: Ehrencrona - This Is So Good (Original Mix)

Tommy Trash x Moguai = big room madness
download: Moguai & Tommy Trash - In N' Out (Original Mix)

Cali duo No Body continuing to get better and better as their tracks seem to be getting bigger and bigger.
download: Mercer - Vaquesso (No Body Remix)

Bonus time:
download: Mark Knight, Adam K, Soha - From The Speaker (Original Club Mix)

download: Atrocite - Only You feat. Mque (Deniz Koyu Remix)

download: Sebastian Drums & Avicii - My Feelings For You (Angger Dimas Bambu Remix)

The Deep End
Somebody suggested this track to me the other day, and let me say it is the ABSOLUTE JAM. I know it's not brand new so some of you might already have it, but for those of you who don't i recommend downloading it before you even finish reading this paragraph. The way it builds over the 7 minutes from the throbbing bass-filled beat at the start into the piano splashed anthem status at the end is utterly incredible.
download: Dj Nibc - The Doorman (Casino Times Remix)

Sultry, midnight deepness - play at your own caution, this track has been known to promote total irresponsibility wherever it finds itself hopping out of speakers.
download: Will Crawshaw & Matt Fear - Just One (Original Mix)

Melodic deep house + UK bass is pretty much a guarenteed recipe for success in our book. Londoners No Artificial Colours doing big tings on this one.
download: No Artificial Colours - Love Box (Original Mix)

I was recently suggested Rodriguez Jr. by a friend, and upon checking him out every single track I've heard by him is absolutely amazing. This remix of the newest Tiger Stripes EP shows the hypnotic, incredibly-well-produced allure of his sound. Definitely a dude to pay attention to in the future.
download: Tiger Stripes - Glorified (Rodriguez Jr. Remix)

BONUSRIGUEZ
download: Rodriguez Jr. & Cari Golden - Music Don't Lie (Original Mix)

download: Pan-Pot - Captain My Captain (Rodriguez Jr. Remix)

Everything Else Under The Sun
A funkin' throwback remix of Chromeo by Lifelike. Reminds me a lot of Grum.
download: Chromeo - Needy Girl (Lifelike Remix)

A classic remix of Jori Hulkkonen. I've always found the pulsing synth work here coupled with the surrealist vocal performance completely addictive.
download: Jori Hulkkonen - I Am Dead (Who Made Who Remix)

We don't often post rap, so when we do you should know there's a reason we're doing it: it's really good. That's the case with this next one which we got in our mailbox a couple weeks back. The beat is money and this dude has a pretty addictive flow, check him out, dudes about to blow up: Ramaj Eroc
download: Ramaj Eroc - For The Love (Feat Poncho) [Prod by Evelution]

Similar to the rap, we don't post much dubstep unless we find it particularly good. For some reason I'm really digging this Gosteffects & Rule of Eight remix.
download: Imogen Heap - Just For Now (Gosteffects & Rule of Eight "I'm God" Remix)

Is there a song Lone has ever made that's not been mind-blowingly good?
download: Lone - Risttowe (Original Mix)

New Deadmau5. It's catchy, you like it.
download: Deadmau5 - Maths (Original Mix)

Blende continues to impress here. All of his songs have a way of carefully building from a simple element in the beginning into a frenzy of addictive high energy electro. One of my favorite up-and-comers right now for sure.
download: Douze - Eternity's Call Back (Blende Remix)

On Repeat

Some old, some new, it's all been on repeat.

We're a little behind on this one, but it's still worth sharing with you guys. The Duck Sauce single 'Big Bad Wolf' gets the Dada Life treatment here. You can probably guess what that means... lots of champagne and bananas. Forreal though, this one is hard hitting and party rocking as per usual from the crazy swedish duo - another festival anthem. I'm also excited to announce that Sir Real and I will be interviewing Dada Life this Saturday in Chicago.. so get stoked for that. If you guys have any burning questions that you want us to ask them, leave it in the comments section and we'll try to fit them in. As always, the more ridiculous the better.
Download: Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix)

Subb-an dives way off the deep end on this one. This remix tools around a thick, delirious beat that weaves in and out around an addictive bassline. The perfect stomper for a dark dancefloor somewhere around 5am.
Download: Noir & Haze - Around (Subb-an Remix)

I thought the Alvaro remix of this song couldnt be topped, but Joe Maz proves otherwise. This remix is straight up bonkers and ludicrously catchy. By far the best version of this song that I've come across. "Johnny, la gente esta muy loca... what ze fuck?"
Download: Sak Noel - Loca People (Joe Maz Remix)

BONUS JAMS '03
Download: Diplo & Oliver Twist - GO (PeaceTreaty Remix)

Download: Adam K & Soha - Who Cares (Original Mix)

Aaand this is why we <3 Bart B More:
