I was chilling with Augustus last night and he asked that I make you all an Alex Gopher post today. I thought it was a good idea so here it is. All of you erudite motherfuckers out there know about this man, but for those that aren't as well acquainted, you're in for a dirty little treat. I first heard Alex Gopher when the masterful 2 Many DJs dropped "Dust" in some set of theirs. This Frenchman churns out some of the grimiest electro around, but his productions always have a distinct element of funk to them. I don't know how to explain it but be sure to turn it up. This stuff will pull your terminal case of Dance Fever right out of its 10 year remission. You're welcome.
originals
Alex Gopher - Dust
Alex Gopher - Aurora (Original Mix)
Alex Gopher - Belmondo (Original Mix)
remixes
IAM - Ca Vient De La Rue (Alex Gopher Remix) [cowbell!]
Shinichi Osawa - Push (Alex Gopher Remix)
the Clubhaus
Now I know you all wake up everyday thinking about how much you miss the Clubhaus and that I've forgotten it entirely, but I haven't. The Clubhaus is alive and well; in fact, every single song on this post could qualify for Clubhaus status and receive an accompanying rage-grade, US visa. But this particular song stands out because it is stupid good. Alex Gopher and Dada Life should really consider some sort of permanent engagement because every time they work together crazy shit goes down.

P.S. Autoerotique at U Street tonight, 10 PM Doors ya heard?
