Nicolas Jaar's new LP "Space Is Only Noise," out on now Circus Company, is something confusing and emotion-laden; propelling yet alien. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't listened to the whole thing. Freaked me out. But, one thing is for sure: this work is art worth exploration, especially coming from a boy who started making music at the age of 14 and is currently a 20-year-old student at Brown. Here are my two favorite tracks off the LP. The first is a discombobulated hip-hop beat verging on lounge and the second, a riff which turns into a pulsing gallop beneath swirling kicks and eerily funky vocal cuts.

Ock and Shaw
Issac Tichauer from Rainbows of Death, whom I've posted several times, sent me over his excellent remix of What Have You by Diamond Lights. Piano stabs central. Get it while it's hot.
Broken Bells have seriously impressed me with their debut self-titled album. I have been listening to it non stop since March. Here's one of my favorite tunes from the album, complete with beautiful string arrangements and acoustic piano melodies.
Norwegian duo Lemaitre really brings something special to the table with this atmospheric journey. Can't go wrong with children's choir...
Realboy is a relatively unknown group from LA. Here we have a very jazzy, swing type electro house track. I have to hand it to them, this track is unique and original. They've really forged their own style.
Com Truise is an excellent producer. You can hear the intense texture and attention to detail in his tracks. In this remix, he creates a expansive sound scape that demonstrates his awesome abilities. Keep this coming Mister Truise. Great website too...
One of my good friends, Austin, showed me this next track. The Brazilian Girls (consisting of three men, and one woman... none of which are Brazilian) come at you with an extended mix of one of their most popular songs Lazy Lover. In this mix, they throw down one of the sexiest, jazziest, funkiest bass lines I've heard in a good while. The layering of this song is amazing. I was entranced by the almost eerie vocals from the very first listen.

Fare Soldi as usual... absolutely killing it.
Here Russ Chimes throws some predictable big room epicness onto this Booka Shade track.

Lazy Sunday
Hey guys, it's Patrick and.................................I'm sleepy. These songs are real good. Trust in me, just in me.
This first song is pure craziness and I love it. Leno Lovecraft is a new face, at least for me, and from the looks of things he's got nowhere to go but up up up.
Rainbows of Death has become a staple on all my best playlists. They do good stuff.
Bloody Beetroots people. Two thumbs up for them. Relaaaax.

After seeing Chromeo live, I've acquired an intangible bond to their music. This song is typical Chromeo, but oh so welcome.
This next song is awwwwesome. Savage Skulls and Douster recently released this song on Mad Decent. That's Robyn singing with her super Swedish voice.
This song isn't new, but that doesn't make any less good. Not really sure what genre to put this in.

Beach Jammin' Part Two
Well, I'm here at the beach with everyone's favorite PK. I wanna get back in the water, so I'm gonna keep this nice and easy. Here is a series of songs that you will love, then download. Yeah? Yeah.
The first song today is a nice variation of Animal by Miike Snow. Treasure Fingers dropped this at his show at U Street Music Hall Saturday night, and I can tell you first hand the crowd was lovin' it.
Where all my NSA brothas and sistas at? This song will get you movin' and groovin' in no time (give it 30 seconds).
Bit Funk just delivers delivers delivers. Kick back in the hammock and soak up the sun my friends.
I know I'm all over DCUP's nuts. But of all people, he's most deserving. I think we can all agree that Rainbows of Death does him justice.
Nightriders, a dance duo from Boston, comin' at you with some nice french filter house. Hell Yes.
