Changed My State of Mind

So first things first. Tonight U Street Music Hall in DC is having one of their biggest events of the year tonight, Moombahton Massive IV. Now I'm not personally a huge fan of moombahton, especially as a headphone listening experience, but at a live show it's a whole different story. Bright and Shiny will be there so if any of you guys make it out to UHall tonight, come say hey and we can hook you up with a free sticker or two. So come get your dance on. Anyways... music time.

I'm a little late on this one, but I'm still extremely excited about it. New Nightriders remix of a Grum track. This is one of those dream matchups that I've been waiting to happen and it's been on repeat on my speakorz for the past week. This track is incredibly smooth, from the loungey synth lines to the catchy vocals.

Also check out the new original track that Nightriders just threw up on their Soundcloud.

Com Truise has been absolutely killing it lately both in terms of quality of his productions and in quantity. This Bright and Shiny favorite will be gracing the 930 Club on July 20th and we were lucky enough to be able to snag an interview with him, so be on the lookout for that in the coming month.

Disco aficionado and producer extraordinaire, Rockets brings us his new "sweaty" funk remix of Jacques Your Body by Les Rhymes Digitale. Sun-splashed and beach ready.

New York based Neo-Disco super group Hercules and Love Affair just recently did a cover The XX's 'Shelter' and they really revamped this classic in their own style. Bouncing bass and head bobbingly catchy percussion place this track in my daily rotation.
