Naughty Naughty

I've been getting into a lot of UK Bass and the like recently. Dunno why Brenmar's never been on Bright & Shiny, cause he's the man. This is just the tip of the iceberg with this guy, whose catalog is full of bouncing, party-ready tracks with exquisite R&B vocal cuts/samples. Lots to look forward to from this dude. One of my favorite tracks from the late, great Aaliyah. Two American dollars goes to anyone who can recognize the Drake line.
[downlode] Aaliyah - R U That Somebody? (Brenmar Windy City Mix)

Jacques Greene just put out a tasty lil' white label EP which features some high-profile R&B vocals and lots of bass. With Amerie on top and Jacques on the bottom, its a party sandwich.
[downlode] Jacques Greene - What U R

Ardalan has an absolute mastery of percussive elements, and he's, like, in college. This funky tech monster commands your full and undivided attention.
[downlode] Namito - Of Mice & Hares (Ardalan's Couchball Remix)

DC-duo Pleasurekraft do our city proud (as always) with this big-room tech house thumper. Their signature whizzing vocal cuts are here to wake up the dancefloor when it's fallen into that 3 AM slump.
[downlode] Umek, Christian Cambas - Heroes Of The Night (Pleasurekraft Remix)

Huxley is a name you'll be seeing a lot of from here on out, especially in two weeks when Eats Everything's mix of "Let It Go" comes out. Huxley's probably British, and this song is very peak-time and very good. Check out his remix of Elef's "Tales of 88" on beatport. Tuuune!
[downlode] Ethyl, Huxley - Reflexions

Swedish techno from the one they call MRSK. Thump thump thump thump.
[downlode] Anthony Shakir - Travellers (MRSK Remix)

&ME bringing the smooth with this funky lil track. A great build and bouncing percussion throughout make this one a must-play.
[downlode] &ME - Glaced

I had the pleasure of seeing Guti spin recently at Spybar Chicago (opening for the legendary Jamie Jones), where he respectfully brought the house down. This track is deceivingly simple, yet the bass doesn't stop being the most compelling element of the track. Boom boom boom boom. Check out the rest of the EP from Crosstown Rebels on beatport.
[downlode] Guti, Fosky - Step

Cheerio,
SIR REAL
