And guess what?  The first person to tag our facebook page in their status wins a FREE pair of tickets for the show!

Come out for what is sure to be a glorious night of uplifting nu-disco vibes - but don't just take our word for it:

Blisspop and Red Fridays presents the D.C. debut of Fred Falke and Lifelike with an opening set from Volta Bureau’s Micah Vellian. Since the release of “Intro,” a collaboration between Fred Falke and long-time partner Alan Braxe, Falke has become a worldwide staple within the sounds of French house and nu-disco. From 2000-2008, Falke and Braxe became two of the most in-demand producers and remixers; taking on projects from Jamiroquai, Goldfrapp, Kelis and Justice. As a solo producer, artist and DJ, Falke has continued to push the French touch sound re-working tracks for La Roux, Lykke Li, U2, Gossip and Little Boots.

Lifelike’s first release “The Soul Of My Love” (2001) landed him a spot releasing tracks through one of the biggest Parisian underground labels, Vulture. From there, his 2005 release, “Discopolis” was one of the biggest underground sellers of 2005; entering the official U.K. Top 40 that summer and earned remixes from Chris Lake, Kerri Chandler and Alan Braxe. Remixing for the likes of Moby, Chromeo, Empire Of The Sun and Chromeo and regularly appearing in the set lists of Thomas Bangalter, Lifelike has been rightfully celebrated as one of the most talented producers out of France.
